Posting rules
Keep it free.
Hobbias is free to join, post on, and browse. Creators must offer their listed software without charging users.
No creator charges or paid features
Do not post paid projects, paid tiers, subscriptions, in-app purchases, or expiring free trials. Do not ask for payment to use a project, unlock features, install it, or access its feedback.
If your project starts charging, unpublish it from Hobbias. Your listing needs a free-access confirmation before it can appear publicly.
Bring-your-own API keys are allowed
A free add-on, client, or wrapper may require users to connect their own external API account. The provider may bill them separately for usage. Clearly identify the provider, account requirements, and possible charges in the listing before anyone tries it. This exception does not permit payments to the creator or a service they control, or paid feature unlocks. Never publish secret API keys.
Be clear about what people can try
Post software you built with AI and can share. Add a working link, explain any installation or account requirements, and say which parts are ready. You can keep the source code private.
Look after the people trying it
Describe your project honestly, respect people's data, and keep feedback useful and respectful. Use the report link on a project page if it hides required external costs, asks for creator payments, or breaks these rules.
